Nurse Tree

"Nurse Tree" was made in Cathedral Grove, a small park of old growth forest left by logging companies. The 800 year old trees preserved in this park are a beautiful epitaph to what the forests of the West Coast had been before colonization.

Nurse Tree is part of the "wood, water, stone" series of photographs made on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada.
